Mission proposée

Reporting to the Middle East Regional Finance Manager, your main activities will be:

General Accounting:
- General accounting including balance sheet and tax matters.
- Management and recording of... daily transactions / documents.
- Local tax declarations including application of international tax rules where applicable. Management of tax controls in conjunction with the internal tax department and external advisors
- Oversight of the payroll process, in conjunction with HR, to ensure correct payment of salaries and payroll taxes and associated reporting.
- Review and recording of employee expenses.
- To work with local operation team to ensure accurate accounting for work in progress , project costs and overhead cost accruals and provisions.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to corporate function.
- To ensure accuracy and justification of closing entries;
- Participation in the preparation of notes to annual statutory financial statements
- Interface and coordination with local statutory auditors, banks, etc.;
- Application and enforcement of Group's accounting internal control procedures.

Cost accounting:
- Preparation of reports and ad hoc analysis to monitor company wide and project performance monitoring
- To work with local operation team to ensure high quality data is gathered from the administrative tool used for project monitoring.

Cash / recovery:
- Regular follow up with customers to ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Initiate and follow through credit escalations / recovery processes where required.
- Ensure compliance with the Group's Accounts Receivable provisions rules.

Profil souhaité

Higher Studies in Accounting, Financial Management
8 to 10 years minimum in general accounting with experience in office and/or with successful experience within an international company.

- Good knowledge with general accounting rules and analytical accounting;
- Knowledge of accounting standard e.g., IFRS, Local Gaap standards.
- Knowledge of corporate law (administrative procedures, etc.), fiscal (VAT, TP, IS ...), business (public procurement, subcontracting, etc.), work (payroll rules...) of the attachment territory;
- Good excel skills (macros, pivot tables...), ERP (AIMS or other used within the perimeter) and accounting and consolidation tools.
- Well-developed communication skills gained ideally in a multicultural environment;
- Able to work to tight deadlines, well organised with a result's focused approach
