At the foundation, we are building a platform for clients and their tax advisors to aggregate, monitor, and manage data on investments in one place - from public securities to startups and real estate. You will be responsible for controlling and maintaining precise profit and loss calculations for a diverse range of bankable and non-bankable assets. Your expertise will also be leveraged in the development and implementation of financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate profit and loss calculations for bankable and non-bankable assets, including closed-ended funds, companies, and real estate.
• Perform regular quality assurance checks on data received from third-party providers to identify and resolve discrepancies in security prices and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting principles, laws, and regulations related to investment portfolios, and stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process.
• Collaborate closely with tax advisors to ensure that we provide accurate, verifiable, and credible investment data.

Requirements

🤝 About You

Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, investment controlling, portfolio management, or a similar role, preferably within a family office or a tax advisory firm.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations related to investment portfolios.
• Proficient in financial analysis, profit and loss calculations, and valuation methodologies for illiquid assets.
• Familiarity with financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable data.
