For one of my best clients in the Netherlands, I am looking for a freelancer SAP Authorizations consultant who wants to work in a rapidly changing IT environment.

Job Description:

The team is responsible for administering authorizations for various systems in a consistent and reliable manner, such as: SAP ECC, SAP Successfactors, SAP Ariba and Every Angle. Besides maintaining the productive ERP systems, the customer is heading for a SAP S4 migration in Oct. 2024. Setting up the new S4 landscape demands a lot from the project organization... (100+ employees) and therefore also from the SAP authorization team.

We are looking for a senior consultant who has experience and/or affinity with providing authorization management in a complex business situation. Together with several colleagues you are the first point of contact for all authorization questions. Furthermore, you provide support in administering and reviewing SAP changes and performing transports in the SAP landscape. You proactively keep up with business and IT developments and based on this, you form a vision of your assigned areas of expertise and then actively propagate it.

The role requires:
• 5+ years of experience in SAP authorization concept design and implementation.
• Expert-level knowledge of SAP authorization objects, authorization classes, and authorization fields.
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) concepts and models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SAP certification in authorization concepts is a plus.
