Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll join a small forward-thinking team focused specifically on the evaluation, assurance and acceptance of secure IT services. You will work closely with selecting... features, data-mining using state-of-the-art methods, extending CGI's data with third party sources of information and enhancing data collection procedures relevant for building analytic systems.

You will be involved in the end-to-end sourcing, processing, cleansing, visualisation and verification of the integrity of data used for analysis. You will also be able to create automated anomaly detection systems, track performance and extract meaningful insights. Using agile methodology, you'll be working to meet rapidly evolving client requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

●Experience as a Data Scientist, demonstrating an excellent understanding of machine
learning techniques and algorithms (neural networks and some of: k-NN, Naive Bayes,
SVM, Decision Forests, etc.)
●Solid applied statistics skills
●Experience with common data science toolkits and core skills in one of Python, NumPy,
MatLab, Tensorflow, keras, etc.
●Knowledge of distributed storage, processing frameworks and visualisation tools would
be ideal
●Knowledge of any of these skills would be useful but not essential:
○ Open-source data processing and management frameworks
○ Query languages (SQL, Hive, Pig, etc.)
○ NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.)
● All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.
