The Trinity Team is seeking a talented Telecommunications Project Manager. Reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO), the successful candidate will be responsible for working with internal and external resources and have the accountability for planning and implementing our project scope.

This hybrid position is located in the greater Toronto area.

Responsibilities
• Adhere to and promote environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Represent Trinity Communication Services in a professional manner.
• Prepare Quotations (meeting customer expectations for deadlines).
• Produce work breakdown structures for execution team (to be done on ERP).
• Prepare package for utility locates.
• Meet with City inspectors to review project and receive approval to proceed.
• Review work orders with Field Operations team.
• Ensure materials required for project have arrived in warehouse or ordered through Trinity Procurement Team.
• Track project progress and update customers and internal personnel as required.
• Review completed work packages, prepare invoice packages, and pass on as-built information as required.
• Pre / Post job costing.
• Working with cross-functional teams.
• Other duties as required by Director of Operations.

Qualifications
• Formal education in Project Management and/or post-secondary education related to telecommunications or will be working towards certification or PMP designation
• 2-5 years telecommunication experience in a project management or project coordinator role ideally suited for the position
• Fiber optic construction experience (both aerial and underground) is an asset
• A passion for your work and a drive for excellence
• Commitment to safety and ethical practices
• Proven ability to understand construction and contract terms
• Effective communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts at all levels in verbal, and written form
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and logical problem solver
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Ability to work alone with no supervision and within a team environment
• Ability to work outside of normal hours when required, including the possibility of weekend, evening, and overnight work
• A valid Ontario Driver’s License
• Competence with MS Office
• Ability to read and understand telecommunication system maps
