Molecular Cell Biology Scientist Job, Waterford Permanent

This leading pharma company in Waterford has a new job opportunity for a Molecular Cell Biology Scientist to join their team and work on key projects in their Cell & Gene Therapy Department . My client is currently expanding its molecular development capabilities and this role offers significant opportunities for growth and development of both laboratory and personal attributes and offers an opportunity to put your Molecular Cell Biology knowledge and experience to good practical use.

This is what you'll be doing:
• Performing molecular cell biology techniques including DNA and RNA extraction, PCR and Elisa
• Producing reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results
• Reporting data
• Following work instructions for all laboratory tasks

Requirements
• Degree in Molecular Cell Biology or Immunology
• Experience in DNA and RNA extraction, qPCR, Sanger sequencing, ELISA, Mammalian... Cell Culture, CBA including Infectivity and in-vitro Potency assays required.
• Experience in ddPCR, AUC (analytical ultracentrifuge) and Infectivity by TCID50 desirable
• 5 years' experience in a regulated laboratory environment or a Masters plus 3 years' experience
• Able to perform moderately complex and complex laboratory activities including method development, validation and data interpretation.
• Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills
