As an Analyst/Associate, you will have the opportunity to assist Macquarie’s clients to review their current procedures and processes in order to find efficiencies within their business and allow our market leading teams to solve for their organisational problems. You will be involved in:
• discussing business and financial objectives with clients
• defining, analysing and solving complex financial and business problems
• assisting with the development and revision of objectives, strategies and plans aimed at solving client business problems and achieving client outcomes
• analysing and... evaluating current systems and structures through financial modelling of new and existing investment opportunities
• advising clients towards more efficient operations and use of resources
• recording and analysing organisations' work-flow charts, financials reports, and operations
• analysing existing and proposed business risks, financials and procedures
• analysing and interpreting data, to identify particular trends and patterns
• preparing and recommending proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows and operations, and resolve organisational and financial problems
• assisting in implementing approved recommendations, and drafting relevant documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3-5 years’ experience of transactions gained at a global investment bank or boutique. You will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with strong numerical ability. As a critical and commercial thinker, you will also harness the ability to effectively and swiftly analyse both quantitative and qualitative data. You will also hold a relevant tertiary degree (e.g., in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or similar) A post-graduate degree or qualification would also be highly advantageous.
