Expert technologist will be responsible for design & development of various modules within the OneView Platform part of Compute Business which includes traditional on premise manageability software solutions as well as next generation as a service (SAAS) data centre management solutions. The role includes owning and driving product architecture, product feature definition, software design, software development and on‐going product support. Projects typically involve coordination with internal and external development partners.

Responsibilities
• Lead multiple project teams technically during all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Analyses design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• Develops architectures and methodologies for secure software systems design and security standards compliance
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and solutions for alignment with technology roadmap and business value
• Demonstrates recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of senior management, development partners and the eco system
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less‐experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence.

Education And Experience Required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 10-12 years of hands-on development experience building complex software applications.

Knowledge And Skills
• Hands-on development experience in Java/Python/shell scripts
• Knowledge on Spring, Hibernate, Python, Shell scripting knowledge.
• Knowledge on hypervisors such as ESX/Hyper-V/KVM.
• Good expertise on Unix/Linux platforms
• Good to have exposer to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes & UI exposer.
• Analyse design and set's up hardware & Software environment and determines test scripts, coding and automation required based on overall architecture of product or solution.
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced, iterative development methodology (Agile-SCRUM).
• Proven track record of delivering complex solutions for multiple customers in Agile environment
• Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience in troubleshooting large software systems
• Knowledge of HPE Server platforms, Networking, Storage & Management solutions is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
