Working within the multidisciplinary Mine Technical Services department, an exciting opportunity exists for you to join us, reporting directly to the Senior Mine Geologist as a valued member of the George Fisher Mine Geology team. As a Mine Geologist, you are accountable for the geological activities that drive the timely execution of the mine plan. Your... orebody knowledge, integrated with Minalyzer geochemical datasets and implicit modelling techniques will ensure domaining of the structurally complex George Fisher Mine stratigraphy is regularly updated for our mine planning stakeholders.

As the successful candidate you will have tertiary geoscience qualifications and at least 5+ years' industry experience in underground mine geology. You have practical experience and the ability to undertake the following:
• Diamond drillhole design, core logging, sampling and QAQC.
• Geological wireframing, modelling and validation.
• Production geology, underground mapping, inspections, material management and reconciliation
• Operate geological software (Leapfrog, Imago, Deswik).
