Overview of the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an inspired, self-directed and results oriented Marketing Lead to strategize, plan and produce innovative and high quality marketing programs across platforms and channels... supporting the strategic business goals of our Telecom & Media industry organization.

As a strategic marketer, you are a strong storyteller and savvy digital marketer with good industry expertise as a foundation. Your role is to take a customer-first, industry-centric, content-rich campaign approach in the market to elevate our brand and positioning for the Telecom & Media business.

You will work collaboratively with the technology and industry teams in Capgemini engineering to develop our leadership position in the telecom engineering services market as well as expand our growing business in advanced connectivity solutions in other verticals. The successful candidate will be able to manage and deliver on a global plan to support the development of new business opportunities with clients and prospects.

Reporting to the Capgemini Engineering Technology Marketing director, you will work in a collaborative, international, cross-functional model together with senior business leaders, recognized subject matter experts of the telecom sector and marketing colleagues from the industry sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

Strategy

In collaboration with the Tech marketing director and the business leadership, develop an overarching marketing plan for your sector

Provide spotted market analysis to senior leaders to improve positioning and support business strategy

Develop, structure and share market intelligence about telecom engineering market and trends with relevant communities

Monitor best practices inside and outside the Group, in order to generate fresh ideas to improve the positioning for the GBL

Though Leadership

Plan, develop and activate content strategy plan around TM Engineering to improve brand awareness, digital presence and drive demand

Work with and drive key business leaders, subject matter experts, and high-level talent, to create compelling content, with the collaboration and support of the content marketing team.

Leverage and develop experts under the social advocates program

Marketing Activation

Develop marketing campaigns to promote the brand and select propositions for external digital channels

Identify opportunities to enhance the Capgemini brand in the world of telecom and media Engineering. This will include the distribution of content such as client wins, success stories and thought leadership via digital channels and will involve close alignment with the external communications team

Develop and design lead generation marketing campaigns at offer level in support of the overall marketing plan

Support the creation of account-based marketing initiatives in our top accounts

Plan key business events involving appropriate content development and associated activity

Experience & Qualifications

-Must have experience of 5+years in technology and/or telecom services marketing.

-Possess strong communication skills (written, verbal, analytical)

-Experience and track record working in a larger corporate would be beneficial

-Highly collaborative, proactive and innovative in the way of working

-Knowledge and appetite for engineering, digital, innovation and technology domains

-A degree in engineering/ marketing/ BA/ BS. MBA preferred

This role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization including senior leadership, third-party industry strategy groups and associations, senior partner executives, press and analysts. You need to be decisive, resourceful, detail- and results-oriented; be innovative in your marketing approach while at the same time disciplined about measuring impact and effectiveness
