I am looking to hire a high calibre finance manager / senior finance manager for my client who is a recognizable firm in the retail sector with a portfolio of well-loved consumer goods sold through online and offine channels.

Key responsibilities

Reporting directly to c-suite, you will be responsible for driving the financial strategy through leading financial reporting, supporting management reporting, and managing a team of direct reports (> 10 accountants). Key responsibilities include being the go-to person for advice on technical accounting issues, statutory reporting and other regulatory compliance matters (e.g. tax, audit, etc.). As the organization expands and evolves with the changing consumer landscape, you will be involved in process improvement/ streamlining projects in support of growth initiatives.

Requirements

You have at least 6 years of experience comprising initial years of training with a Big 4 external audit team... experience in auditing retail and ecommerce clientele, and subsequent commercial experience in a start-up environment. This role is open to direct applicants from the Big 4 external audit function. To succeed in this role, you should be described as levelheaded, collaborative, self-motivated and adaptable.
