Your Role:

We are actively hiring for a Solutions Architect! Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, in achieving our goals. We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals, who think big and move fast with a passion for service excellence.

Your work: (Essential responsibilities)

The Solutions Architect VI is primarily responsible for providing technical leadership and solutions to system development projects involving multiple applications This includes designing and prototyping scalable solutions in alignment with architecture direction and standards. The architect will collaborate with IT delivery teams, CTO office, partners and peers regarding short and long-term technical strategies, roadmaps, and product recommendations. Additionally, this individual will work constructively with business, software developers, project leaders, and other software architects in defining the technical architecture. Last, the architect will analyst the requirements of a project and determining how to apply architecture best practices.

What would make us excited about you?
• Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with a heavy concentration in application architecture, integration design, or systems engineering in the most recent three years.
• 5+ years of Technical experience in current level for design, execution and deployments.
• Experience in Cloud architectures and full-stack web development including mobile development.
• Experience converting monolithic applications into loosely coupled, event driven, APIs and microservices based solutions.
• Experience in defining current and future state architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organization to determine enterprise-wide information systems needs and to build the environment to facilitate the development of systems to meet those needs
• Sound knowledge of commercial software packages, tools, including the entire technology stack, and the ability to utilize many when architecting solutions
• Insurance domain knowledge and relevant COTS products
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy applications to the cloud
• Expertise in DevOps and Serverless Computing
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
• Presentation skills in speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

The national average salary range for this position is $165,780- $184,200. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full [salary range] [hourly rate range] for this position across all the states we hire in is $149,130-$221,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
