- On-going staff education and support The Senior dietician role is a key position within the service.

- The role is primarily clinical and includes a leadership/management component for junior dieticians.
- The Senior dietician will hold a designated portfolio responsibility and lead clinical education and quality improvement initiatives for the dietician group across the service.

We are seeking an experienced practitioner with proven clinical competence within eating disorders and to work across our specialist eating disorders continuum to provide client/family/whanau centred care within an interdisciplinary team setting.

Tupu Ora is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for, children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Tupu Ora also provides consultation to and liaison with community services and hospitals in the Metro Auckland region as well as specialist support to Northland, and residential services for the supra region.

Tupu Ora has a continuum of services including outpatient and residential options as a dietician you would work across the continuum . As a member of the Tupu Ora team you will work collaboratively within the multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and specialist treatment to our clients of all ages presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders. You will also work collaboratively with other mental health teams providing specialist dietetic treatment for service users in other mental health treatment presenting with eating disorders.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach with experience in clinical dietetics. You will be an experienced practitioner with proven clinical competence within eating disorders and have a good understanding of evidenced based treatments for anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa and how dietetic treatment can enhance treatment and support recovery.

We welcome applications from New Zealand registered dieticians with a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience including a minimum of 2 year within eating disorders. You will be able to work independently, hold a current Annual Practising Certificate and full Drivers' License.

There are full or part time – minimum hours 0.6fte.
