This position requires adaptability to work with a variety of processes while refining process settings, tooling and documentation from concept through production ramp. This position will work in a dynamic, innovative and collaborative environment including hands-on work.The following challenges await you:Involved in prototyping, process development, confirmation runs, and validation. Available to support and troubleshoot production or production ramp issues as needed.Work with subject matter experts and cross functional groups to ensure that proper technology processes are developed, implemented, maintained, and documented to successfully introduce new products into manufacturing.Assume responsibility for completeness and accuracy of developed processes (i.e., lead, manage, communicate, complete documentation, train) including ownership of process capability, process quality, and process costs.Assist in new equipment/tooling identification, procurement, installation qualification, document creation, and training. May participate in execution of these activities as needed.Other duties may be assigned as required.Your profile:Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Biomedical) preferred.Process experience in one or more of the following preferred: medical device or component manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or laser ablation/welding/markingProcess capability or data analysis experience is preferredProficiency in reading, writing and speaking English. Must be able to clearly articulate and listen attentively to questions, concerns and feedback from coworkers and customers.
