The Instrumentation & Control Construction Supervisor is a rotational position based in El Trapial field, that will report to the Execution Team Leads. This I&C CR position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of activities related to unconventional and base business project construction instrumentation work executed by local EPC contractors in new facilities and in the revamping of existing ones. I&C CR responsibilities include ensuring Chevron construction, safety, efficiency, and quality standards are adhered to during all construction activity phases

Position is based in El Trapial field, in a 7x7 shifts schedule.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Must be fully committed to Operational Excellence, the Chevron Way and fostering a culture of Incident Free Operation. Ensures 100% compliance... with Managing Safe Work, Permit to Work, construction risk management, safety construction plan, Health protocols associated with pandemic, Management of Change process, Process Safety activities and Information Protection.

Plan construction activity in daily basis and define risk level for each activity for planning and coordinating safety barriers.

Supervise construction contractor work and manage Permit To Work (PTW) Interface coordination of construction scope with Construction Scheduler and Control, Project manager and Facilities Projects Planning Engineer.

Project control coordination of execution plan with contractors

Assurance of execution progress and compliance with technical specifications for QAQC record, as built drawings, and data-books.

Validate construction progress certificates for supporting Service Confirmations.

Generate weekly reports on construction work and project control.

Experience and personal & Technical Skills:

A minimum of 5 years of Supervision of I&C construction projects for Oil & Gas production Companies.

Good written and verbal communications skills that enable effective communication with all levels of the organization, from work crews to top management.

Ability to identify, define problems, and provides solutions to the client through clear and precise communication. Develop clear technical documents such as equipment specifications sheet, project or facility description, and guidelines.

Abilities on negotiation and previous exposition and interface with labor unions representatives

Required Qualifications:

Education Secondary/Technical mandatory, and desirable engineering degree

Desirable English speaking and writing skills

Certification for safety driving at oil fields
