You as a Senior Commissioning Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be supporting the eastern region telecom commissioning team in completing end to end testing to enable customer to run their protection and control circuits through the telecom system. Additionally build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.

Your responsibilities
• The employee is responsible to supervise installation of telecom panels and cabling associated with them according to SEC... standards.
• Commissioning of the telecom system - end to end.
• Successful communication of protection system between two stations on a point to point link or network as required.
• Protection systems include relay communication through media converters or NSD570 or TEBIT or OPTIF or TEPI or OPIC cards as required.
• SAS / SCADA communication between the station & control center.
• Generation of site activity reports & commissioning reports.

Your background
• A bachelor's degree in electrical or telecom engineering.
• 7 - 8 years of experience in the relative field.
• Basic knowledge of routing and switching functions.
• Knowledge of MPLS-TP systems.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
