Permanent - Biomedical Scientist - Blood Transfusion - London

Maxximas permanent team are recruiting for a Biomedical Scientist experienced in Blood Transfusion to work in a private hospital based in London.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced biomedical scientist with good technical skills, excellent communication skills and high quality standards to be part of an energetic, highly motivated and dynamic team to provide an efficient and effective service to patients.

Location: London, close to Paddington

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time hours, 24/7 shift working pattern (including weekends & overnights) with enhanced pay for unsocial hours worked.

Whats in it for you?

- Salary up to £46'000 PA + Benefits + enhanced pa for unsocial hours

On a typical day you will:

- Responsible for the... delegated tasks required for the delivery of a fit-for-purpose medical laboratory service
- Maintaining the quality management system and UKAS accreditation
- Training of less experienced members of staff, validating and authorising results and most importantly providing quality service for our patients

What will you need to succeed in this role?

- Registration with HCPC as Biomedical Scientist
- Biomedical Science BSc degree or equivalent
- Experience working in a UK LAB, Biochemistry experience not essential with good BMS experience training will be given
- UK right to work essential
- Willingness to participate in the out of hours service
