Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Computer Science (Ref.:
519370) (to commence as soon as possible for one year on a temporary basis
with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and
satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or
related disciplines with relevant skills in software development. They should
have solid knowledge of and/or experience working with Linux, Node, Git,
MariaDB/MySQL, Python, JavaScript, web frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, and
ElasticSearch. Experience in Vue and lexical analysis would be an advantage.
They should have good communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.

The appointee will undertake web development, testing... implementation,
deployment, and system administration and maintenance for Hong Kong Legal
Information Institute (https: // v2.hklii.hk) and the Community Legal
Information Centre (https: // clic.org.hk).

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
