Your role in helping us shape the future:

You are a pro at identifying, developing and managing new and ongoing business. You will be a key member of our sales team focusing on the development and growth of Intelsat’s business in Canada. You are skill in new market development, as well as, meeting current sales quota targets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage important and well-established customers and close high value deals.

• Thanks to your brilliant flair for new business and experience you easily identify new opportunities and customers.
• As a great negotiator you close complex new deals and generate revenue growth.
• You provide stellar customer service as you are the GO-TO person for your client group who liaises with other departments as needed.
• You share your advanced knowledge and expertise to provide guidance to your work group.
• Use your excellent business acumen skills to assist the Managing Sales... Director to develop and implement sales plans and ultimately meet or exceed the objectives for your market.
• Showcase your leadership skills to coordinate activities of other employees and determine procedures and methods.
• You can connect customer financial and operational goals to Intelsat wholesale and managed solutions.
• As an expert on customers and region you provide reports and advise Intelsat Management on related issues and sales activities.
• You keep existing and potential customers up to date with the latest Intelsat sales proposals and marketing materials and work with clients to help uncover new or not-yet-realized opportunities and requirements.

You should definitely have:
• University degree.
• At least 7 years of international solutions sales experience in the satellite, media of MNO (Telco) sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian technology sector with existing relationships with key contacts among in country carriers, broadcasters, or programmers.
• The ability to talk fluently in the language of media and telco technology and possess a proven ability to build a solution which meets the customer’s needs and bridge the gap to the satellite industry by displaying a solid understanding of both technologies.
• Experience and exposure to cross functional virtual teaming.
• Specific experience closing high $ value, complex deals working with a wide range of customers.
• Ability to close standard deals autonomously.
• Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to support the full sales lifecycle.
• Great organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40% to meet business needs.

It would be nice if you had:
• Experience selling a variety of technologies/services into the telecommunications sector.
