Assistant Credit Analyst - Sandyford

Salary: €32k base plus €2k end of year bonus.

Location: Sandyford, South Co. Dublin

12-month fixed term contract (maternity leave)

Description of Role

Our client is now seeking an Assistant Credit Analyst to join their team in Sandyford. The successful candidate will manage credit approvals of new and existing clients / prospects.

This person will analyse financial statements, bank statements and credit reports for evidence of ability to pay.

This is a junior role working with two other people in this department to support.

Requirements:
• Must have a minimum 2/3-year relevant experience within customer service and accounts.
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft skills especially Excel
• Numerate & literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand accounts.
• Must have a professional approach.
• Good communication skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Must be assertive but diplomatic.
•... Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the Motor industry preferred but not essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Answer phone and email queries in a timely manner.
• Resolve and expedite customer queries to facilitate payment.
• Preparation of ratings for clients & performing risk analysis.
• Input of parameters to system.
• Carry out CDD screening.
• Management of international credit approvals.
• Assist in collecting outstanding monies by appropriate means.
• Liaise with relevant departments regarding collection activities.
• Escalate unresolved issues to line manager within agreed parameters.
• Must undertake any ADHOC duties which may be required from time to time by Line Manager.
