Group Staff Welfare Coordinator
Job Summary
Responsible for the welfare of employees, maintaining a healthy, safe work environment, improving staff motivation and productivity.
Key Performance Areas
1. Facilitate welfare initiatives in all business units, camps, and lodges by offering support to committees (staff committees & Peer educators) and fostering the development of new committees where necessary.
2. Act as a non-clinical counseling resource, non-judgemental support and assist in resolving any personal and /or work-related problems in... consultation with professional counselors where there is a need.
3. Support and ensure implementation of the Company Wellness Policy.
4. Provide guidance to staff on adapting to work conditions and retirement from service.
5. Provide counseling and psycho-social support to all staff and retirees.
6. Increase staff awareness and information about opportunities available to them by contributing to the induction training of new staff.
7. Develop information platforms on subjects related to work-life issues, health issues, etc, and facilitate access to related information sources.
8. Develop programs designed to improve the quality of life of employees within the Group.
9. Support entertainment activities for employees (such as outings, sporting activities, and other social events)
Qualifications & Experience
1. Hold at least a degree or its equivalent in Social Work/Human Resource Management, or other related disciplines.
2. Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant practical working experience handling Social Welfare related duties in similar organizations.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
4. Organisational skills
5. Knowledge of health and wellness principles
