You will describe yourself as a dynamic and enthusiastic Accounting Professional who has a genuine interest in learning and establishing their career within a Public Practice environment. You are tech savvy and committed to providing a high level of client service.

The Opportunity

Reporting to directly to partner, the Intermediate Accountants role will encompass the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a variety of clients ranging from individuals to small/medium businesses. You will... be liaising with clients and other stakeholders, with a strong focus on communication and time management.

Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, your main responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and BAS.
• Bookkeeping in various accounting packages.
• Preparation of periodic management accounts.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
• A Bachelor of Business/Commerce majoring in Accounting.
• A minimum of 1-2 years Public Practice experience.
• Experience with XERO is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
• A diligent and hardworking approach to your work.
• A positive attitude towards change.
