Description

Essential Duties...
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
• Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
• Confers with customer and supplier design staffs concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
• Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
• Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
• Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
• Develops reports to Korean and US management about day to day operations.
• Performs other and/or special assignments as delegated.

Education / Skill / Experience Requirements
• 4-yr College degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience with
• 0-2 years in the automotive field.
• Automotive parts assembly experience preferred with 0-2 years experience in the assembly of modular component systems. Must have working knowledge of manufacturing processes and knowledge of Quality Assurance Techniques with emphasis on Manufacturing Processes Problem Solving and Automotive Quality Requirements.
• Excellent oral/written communication , presentation, reporting, and interpersonal skill required.
• Strong general office software skills required for Microsoft Office package – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• AutoCAD 2004 2D drafting working knowledge required.
Korean Language in written and oral form is a plus but not mandatory for day to day duties
