Pixelynx is a new music and gaming venture that has been launched by deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin. We are building a music metaverse that makes it easy for any artist, label or events to launch their own interactive experiences and monetise them through Digital Collectables (NFTs)

We are looking for an Animator to join us on our journey to build the music metaverse and bring the music and gaming industries together and into the future. You will be responsible for bringing our characters and creatures within the metaverse to life. Working closely with the creative team, you will have a passion for the craft of animation and game development, with a desire to play a part in delivering the next generation of interactive experiences for our playerbase.

Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality, captivating and performant animation
• Bringing creative ideas and flair
• Provide key detailed input during the character creation process, identifying character performance and functionality... requirements
• Bring characters to life through key frame animation

Requirements
• You have experience working as an Animator on exciting and cool projects
• Product software knowledge (Maya etc.)
• An understanding of animation fundamentals and traditional animation principles
• An interest and knowledge of the metaverse and web3 technology is preferred but not essential
• You are confident with key frame animation
• Great communication skills and an ability to engage with a multi-disciplined development team, working with a diverse group of passionate people across the globe
• Examples of your work in the form of a showreel or portfolio
• You are passionate about what you do and about working on awesome projects that you can be proud of
