About Our Client

My client who is a renowned consultancy is experiencing impressive growth over the last few years and are therefore they are looking to bring in an aspiring Management Accountant to grow with the business. The role will be based out of Peterborough and will give the candidate key exposure to commercial business decisions and will be given the lead on everything including system migrations.

Job Description

The successful Management Accountant will be responsible for:
• Provide accurate and sound management reporting.
• Produce & implementing month end and year end journals.
• Prepare management accounts packs.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UK financial regulations.
• Review company assets and liabilities
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts.
• Calculate, submit, and arrange payment of VAT.
• Oversee & provide monthly reporting... for ID lines.
The Successful Applicant

The Successful Management Accountant Will Have
• Full or Part Qual. ACA / ACCA / CIMA and QBE will be considered for this role
• A good understanding of management information systems
• Strong Excel skills (V Lookups, Pivot Tables etc)
• Commercially aware, highly competent, with solid commercial acumen.
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial; internally & externally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen as a bonus
• Local to Peterborough
