Management Accountant - Basingstoke - 35,000 - 45,000 - Hybrid Working - Bonus & Benefits

IN2 Consult are currently supporting an established household name based in the Basingstoke area in their recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their ever-growing finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to have a key involvement in the day-to-day running of a FTSE-sized international organisation with a multi-million pound turnover.

The Management Accountant Role Includes The Following Duties
• Ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet areas, working closely with the business to improve performance.
• Support the Supply Finance Manager on inventory accounting & other duties.
• Partake in Month-End duties, ensuring deadlines are met whilst ensuring the accuracy of accruals, prepayments and other financial entries.
• Preparation of variance reporting & analysis for the month-end review and understanding the reasoning behind differences.
• Monthly completion of thorough and accurate... balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of balance sheet.
• Review and approve payments as well as bank reconciliation including cash forecasting.
• Prepare year-end management accounts in SAP and assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements and disclosures.
• Work closely with other Management Accountants to prepare accurate and insightful month-end packs including information surrounding the balance sheet, P&L, and variance reporting.
• Creation of concise and user friendly cost centre reviews and discuss with cost centre managers to monitor and control costs.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the FC/FD/HQ

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role will have the following experience:
• Fully or Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Experience working within an accounting/finance environment
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Excellent Excel skills
• Experience of SAP software
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy
