Theme

Studying the influence of the reaction of silicon on the welding strength, especially in fatigue.

Main missions

Two types of way to cure silicon will be studied.

The analysis of the curing will be mainly done by using DSC.

The differences observed in curing will be studied mechanically in the way to understand the influence of curing on the mechanical properties.

Plates will be molded and samples tested in fatigue.
