Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established trading house looking to hire a Power Quant Analyst to join the team in Lyon Key Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for building, maintaining, and improving new price forecast models.
Translate the model results into strategies for the traders, to maximize P&L.
Be responsible for the backtesting of the models.
Use your knowledge of machine learning, optimization or quantitative mathematics to best assist the team.
Role reports to desk Head.
Key Qualifications / Experience 2 years experience in a quantitative role within the power market.
Strong coding skills, ideally with Python and/or Julia.
Good... communication skills and hunger for progression.
Fluency in English and French is required.
Located or willing to relocate to Lyon, France
