A Snapshot of Your Day As a mechanical engineer and part of our department, you will implement and be responsible for the design, dimensioning as well as constructive design of various components of our PEM stacks and the final release of the engineering bills of material. As part of an interdisciplinary project team you will be one of the contact persons for the project managers, manufacturing colleagues, quality colleagues, purchasing colleagues and product life cycle management. Due to the focus on bill of materials, you will design or re-design existing components, write specifications and define and implement further measures and changes in close coordination with suppliers and internal departments. • Responsibility for product definitions and access management in Teamcenter as our master of our engineering bill of materials
• Responsibility for central instance for our change process as our business admin for Teamcenter
• Authoring and releasing mechanical designs and drawings for products as well as projects over the entire PLM landscape and value chain
• Conceptualizing, calculating, developing and designing components for our electrolyzer stacks
• Developing according to our product development process from scratch to product as part of the mechanical design team
• Designing with respect to cost optimization as well as specifying and describing your designed components
• Consulting our manufacturing and quality colleagues as interface and technical counterpart
• Managing and releasing product related data as well as product caring and transferring to future product generations
What You Bring
• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable disciplines
• At least 3 years of professional experience
• In-depth knowledge in working with NX (3D-CAD designs, 2D-CAD drawings and renderings) as well as in working with bill of materials in Teamcenter
• Experience according to conventional and agile product development processes
• Knowledge in authoring, creating and reviewing technical specifications for suppliers, documentation and quality related documents as well as in design to cost
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication skills and self-reliant way of working
• Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams to develop joint innovative solutions
