As a General Ledger Accountant you will be responsible for maintenance of the ledger account, execute varied accounting functions such as balance sheet reconciliations including reconciliations, Journal entry input, labor and accruals,month end closing reports,cost allocations.
• *Responsibilities for General Accountant**

- Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

- Assist with preparation of financial and statistical statements and reports

- Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies

- Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

- Maintain confidentiality of all financial data

- Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries

- Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers

- Handle payroll functions as required by the organization

- Review financial information and documents quarterly and annual basis

- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions... including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes

- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit

- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control

- Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines

- Act as backup accounts payable

- Reconcile ledgers monthly and quarterly

- Month-end and year-end closing

- Work under the supervision of a Senior Accountant

- Generate reports of financial status information

- Record and control Petty Cash Expenses, Follow up Closing Custodies
• *Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 5 years of accounting/finance G.C.C work experience
• *Requirements**:
