Production Manager Trainee : (Ref 007)

Oxygas is developing a medical and industrial gases manufacturing facility in Selibe Phikwe. The project entails installation, commissioning and operation of an air separation plant, acetylene plant and nitrous oxide plant The main objective is to develop a one stop industrial and medical gases production facility for supply of atmospheric and process gases in line with international quality standards.

Main Purpose of the Job

The Production Manager ensures that production targets are met production equipment and tools function properly, and increase an organisation's efficiencies, tins includes compiling production schedules, making sure production processes stay within budgets and deadlines and reviewing the productivity of the company's production equipment and processes, and manage production team in accordance... with Good Management Practices and World Health Organisation (WHO) requirements.

Key Accountabilities

Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
Ensuring safety and health standards are met to keep Oxygas accident-free
Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
EstaDHshkig a balance between Increased productivity and reduced costs of production operations
Setting productivity goals for the production team
Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
Check equipment and report any faults or deviations to the
Engineering Manager to drive effective fault management processes

Qualification Requirements

Diploma Engineering
2 years experience in a production industry
Pood + Health industry experience (advantageous)
ERS accreditation
