TRANSCOSMOS ZERO is thrilled to be seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Junior IT Security and NW Specialist/Administrator to join our rapidly growing team. We are excited to work with someone who shares our passion for IT security and NW Specialist/Administration, and who will play a key role in helping us continue our mission to provide exceptional service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding IT security support and configuration to our company and group companies, as well as providing day-to-day technical support for chatbot operations. They will have a strong understanding of our in-house tools and act as a key support to clients and internal teams in the APAC region with a strong knowledge of IT systems.

Duties:
• configure security settings of our IT infrastructure
• keep up-to-date with the latest vulnerabilities
• work with internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations while maintaining security
• manage and analyze... logs
• support client enquiries about our in-house applications
• monitor and maintain system metrics dashboard and alerts
• provide training to colleagues
• update company documentation of our IT infrastructure
• work alongside our Tech team in Japan HQ

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who
• is committed to learning and becoming a specialist in IT Security and NW Specialist/Administrator
• has a basic understanding and education/work background in IT Security and NW Admin

Good to Have:

Additionally, it would be fantastic if the candidate has
• Experience with industry standards, especially regarding cloud computing
• Good knowledge on malware analysis, system security architecture and security solutions
• An understanding of possible attack vectors such as network reconnaissance probing/scanning, DDOS, malicious code activity, MITM attacks, etc.
• Excellent communication skills to work with various parties
• A strong knowledge of IT systems including IDS/IPS, firewalls, Data Leakage Protection
• Experience with SIEMS and CIRP
• Familiarity with configuring AWS Security Hub
• AWS GuardDuty Config and Cloudtrail
• The ability to read and write in Japanese are all highly desirable
