Please note this is a temporary position for a duration of 18 Months.

As ATB Wealth's next Business Support Specialist, you are passionate about assisting a team of Financial Advisors in managing and administering a portfolio of ATB Wealth clients within Alberta.

Under the direction of the Director, ATB Wealth Advice Centre you are client obsessed and will be responsible for ensuring ongoing delivery of friendly, efficient and professional post sale service and support to a portfolio of ATB Wealth clients. You also seek out new information, share your ideas with others and look for continuous improvement in the processes you do everyday. You bring your best self to work and your responsibilities include delivery of client investment needs and building strong internal relationships to maintain high levels of service.

The Business Support Specialist ensures proactive administrative support services to the Financial Advisors in the delivery of client investment needs. They maintain a high level of quality service by completing client maintenance requests, ensuring the back office transactional information requests are responded to and providing follow up service in a timely manner. This role acts as a subject matter expert for the administration of all estate accounts and plays a pivotal role as the point of contact for all client transitions as part of our segmentation strategy. The Business Support Specialist also plays a proactive role in supporting the Director with other project related support.

Business Support Specialist Accountabilities
• Acts as the first point of contact for clients and strives to execute inbox client requests by providing support and investment advice, as appropriate and ensuring leads and inquiries are referred to the appropriate advisory experience.
• Responds to client questions or concerns regarding investment products, processing procedures, fees and charges, and settlement expectations.
• Work in coordination with other advisory teams to transition clients to the Wealth Advice Centre and ATB Prosper client service models as part of our strategic segmentation initiatives.
• Maintains a strong understanding of investment related regulations, sales processes, policies and procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Supports a strong client communication engagement strategy for registered plan notifications.
• Go to person to process the required estate payout steps and is a subject matter expert for these account types.
• Supports the Director, ATB Wealth Advice Centre for all other business related project work.

• The ability to IIROC Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) with completion of the Canadian Securities Course or CFA level 1 exam at a minimum. Completion of the below certifications are an asset:
• Conduct & Practices Handbook
• CSI 90-day Online Training Course
• Good working knowledge of wealth management solutions preferable Dataphile and Salesforce (including Engage) sales processes, policies, and procedures
• Proven experience in prospecting and networking in previous roles is an asset
• Ability to oversee all administrative aspects of client investment accounts
• Strong working knowledge of G-suite and computer skills
• Post-secondary education required; previous industry related experience would be an asset

The ideal candidate will be or can be IIROC Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) and have experience supporting wealth clients. A superstar with G-suite tools and other wealth management systems is an asset.
