Harmonic are excited to be working exclusively with an Award-Winning TV and Film Post-Production Company who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team.

This is a hybrid role with... at least 2 days expected in the office.

The Role:

Reporting to a skilled Group Assistant Accountant, this Finance Assistant will join a small finance team, lead by a talented Finance Director, to support the needs of the business by contributing to the accounts payable/accounts receivable arm of the business, managing the payroll process, and communicating with and managing the business' network of freelancers and suppliers. There are great opportunities for progression within the scope of this role-providing you with the opportunity to gain more exposure to various elements of a career in accounting.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience working as a Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant and feels confident they could hit the ground running. Knowledge of Xero is also important. The Duties:
• Business partner with other departments to ensure queries are answered
• Credit control
• Manage the payroll process for the business (permanent and subcontracted employees)
• Raise, approve, and load invoices into the PO system
• Reconcile receipts
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor the freelance network
• Answer queries
• Ad hoc duties to support the finance department

What we need to see (essential):
• At least 2 years of accounting experience
• Previous experience using Xero

What we'd like to see (bonus):
• Experience in the Creative Industries - Media/Marketing/Music/TV/Film sector

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + study support
