The Role and the school

Vision for Education is seeking supply Outdoor Education Support Worker. You will support with the provision of residential and off-site experiences for young people, groups, and organisations. As an Outdoor Education Support Worker your role will be to ensure the health and safety of the environment complies with legislation relating to health, safety and welfare of children and young people who have Special Educational Needs.

The specialist schools cater for students in with learning difficulties and social or emotional issues. The school offer brilliant facilities and resources to help give every child an opportunity to learn and develop. Most schools we work with have excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be advantageous.


The desired Outdoor Education Support Worker will have;

- Experience of working... with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of SEND pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
