This is an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Landscape Architect, with further opportunities to develop into a more senior position within Citicene. We are currently working with numerous clients that share a similar passion for landscape as we do, and therefore delivering landscapes to a high standard, with a high attention to detail is important. Citicene is a Brisbane based practice with a long history of landscape architecture throughout Queensland and Australia. The RoleThe primary purpose of the role is to manage various client projects and deliver design solutions on time and on budget to... the highest possible quality standard, according to the scope of work. The role also requires superior stakeholder engagement and communication skills to ensure client satisfaction is high while also maintaining strong project management and time management skills to produce innovative landscapes that reflect positively on the Citicene brand.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain strong relationships with all clients and stakeholdersTake full responsibility for the quality and delivery of your workThe ability to produce high quality landscape deliverables with a high degree of attention to detail is requiredLeadership in supervising and/or training junior staff when requiredCore competencies – technologyProficient in AutoCADProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign & Acrobat)Proficient in Sketch up desirable - but not essentialProficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., EXCEL, Word, Outlook & Teams)QualificationsRegistered Landscape Architect preferred - but not essentialA relevant accredited tertiary qualification in Landscape ArchitectureCore competencies – general skills Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver projects efficientlyHigh degree of attention to detail, ability to review own work and that of others Superior communication skills to handle client, colleague and/or stakeholder interactionsA proactive team player with a 'can do attitude' who enjoys collaboration Strong work ethic with the desire to learn and contribute to the team A self-starter who can work efficiently without supervision and effectively problem solvePunctual, reliable, trustworthy, and professional at all timesWork ExperienceAt least 8 years’ experience in a similar roleMentoring junior staff on best practice in landscape architectureBenefitsOpportunities for career developmentMount Gravatt location - save precious time by not having to commute into the CBD through peak hour trafficRegular team events including regular site review visitsPaid AILA membership and moreJoin a team that are passionate about landscape and the environment, participates and contributes to AILA, has a strong interest in creating and enhancing landscapes across Queensland and Australia and are driven to produce high-quality projects.
