Our Raw Materials Supplier is currently looking for a Sales Rep/ Account Manager – West Africa based in JHB Sandton.

They will be required to Develop the Food, Feed and Agri business

Minimum requirements :
• Matric/ Grade 12
• 3 year Degree in relevant industry would be advantageous
• Minimum 2 years Sales experience
• Food and Beverage Sales industry experience will be advantage
• Clear criminal record and employee history
• Working Hours : Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 16:00, Friday – 07:00 to 15:00

Job Summary:

A book of current clients will be giving to the approved candidate for Local Food& Bev department, along with the book of clients, new business will also be required to be developed with new projects as well.

Reporting to :
• Employee will report directly to the Operations & Sales manager and South Africa Communicator.

Responsibilities/requirements:
• Employee will be required to work from the office as above mentioned location.
• Daily call... targets & meetings to be met.
• Learning of our current products and new products introduced into the market.
• Manage and develop business with current accounts.
• Develop new industries within the market in SA and neighbouring countries and within the scope of company’s strategies.
• Ensure sales targets are met that is set out by SA management team.
• Develop 2 to 3 new projects with above set market and industries, meeting
• Company’s standards. Using and sharing resources on local/international purchasing.
• Traveling to Durban and Cape Town at least once per quarter, meeting and developing customers.
• Strategic industry growth.
• Manage current stock holding and delivery planning for current customers and orders.

Working Hours : Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 16:00, Friday – 07:00 to 15:00

Salary proposal : Basic Salary R20 000 for first three months, thereafter R23 000 per

month until contract ends. After three months of probation the following will also be added:

Company contribution of R1 500 per month, commission of 0.5% per ZAR. Purchases are

calculated at 0.35% per ZAR.
