Objective

The general manager has ultimate responsibility for the wellbeing of the hotel including financial health, staff inspiration and development, organizational systems and facilities maintenance. The GM should guide daily operations in all aspects, develop human resources, and maintain a progressive business strategy. This position collaborates with the Project Manager and Event Sales Manager; and reports to the Assembly Hospitality Director of Food and Beverage.

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial and Organizational
• Profitability - Track, manage, and report the costs associated with running the hotel. Manage expenses in all accounts, teach awareness to collaborative staff. Systematically eliminate any wasteful actions or practices.
• Oversee all inventory activity and cost centers. Have intimate understanding of systems, accountability, and waste controls.
