The Sr. Firmware Engineer will develop and support firmware for highly optimized wireless controllers that millions of users will interact with almost every single... day.

Responsibilities
• You will be designing and developing firmware for innovative and highly optimized wireless controllers.
• You will work on first-of-a-kind devices with the latest connectivity technology.
• You will help develop devices that will be used by millions.
• You will actively participate in a team of highly motivated developers in an open environment where discussion is encouraged.
• You will evaluate and integrate software from 3rd party vendors.
• You will review source code from other developers.

Qualifications
• Fluent in Korean and English.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and persistent; problem solver who does not accept failure.
• Great team player with great interpersonal skills.
• Experience in C programming on severely resource-constrained platforms.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures.
• Experience developing on bare devices.
• Experience designing device drivers for peripherals like external memories and sensors.
• Experience with power-management.
• Experience using debuggers, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with consumer IR and RF protocols, including Bluetooth Low Energy, RF4CE, Zigbee and Wi-Fi, is a strong plus.
• Experience with Git or another source code management system is a plus.
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design is a plus.

Education
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a very strong software component and +10 years of relevant experience; MSc preferred. Universal Electronics Inc.
