MEEA NOMIMONO is looking for a “Microbiology lab technician” for our brand "MEEA INDIAN WATER" (mineral water bottles of 300ml; 500ml; 1L; 2L & 20L).

Responsibilities and Duties
For the position of lab technician – water microbiology, the candidate will require sound knowledge and experience in applying the principles of modern scientific analytical techniques in bacteriology, protozoology, and biology.
• Prepare samples for analysis, in accordance with sample/analysis requirements and preparation methods.
• Perform routine analysis, validations and project work in an efficient and effective manner.
• Ensure external and internal clients’ requirements are met / exceeded.
• Ensure efficient utilisation of laboratory materials.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain equipment/instruments as required.
• Complete all quality control records in accordance with quality requirements and work instructions.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, ensuring a safe and hazard... free work environment.
• Dispose all hazardous waste and spent/surplus samples safely in accordance with the procedure/work instruction.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of their work area and processes, aiming for better safety, quality, turn-around-time and efficiency.
• Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, and all other relevant policies and procedures, as updated from time to time.

Qualifications
• Experience in algae analysis/identification (microscopy) and protozoans.
• Certificate / Diploma in Laboratory Techniques; or equivalent qualification; or significant laboratory experience.
• Experience in a water testing commercial laboratory.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to structure thoughts deliberately, logically and directly.
• Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Salary: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
