A financial services organization in New York City is actively seeking an experienced and analytical professional to join their staff as their new Fixed Income Securitized Trader. In this role, the Fixed Income Securitized Trader will identify, negotiate, and execute Securitized trades in both primary and secondary markets.

Responsibilities...

The Fixed Income Securitized Trader will:
• Monitor trades for cash and compliance
• Set up duration hedging of trades in the treasury/futures market
• Monitor securitized market for new issuance, secondary offers, and trade ideas
• Perform prepayment and credit modeling of securitized bonds to inform relative value
• Collaborate with PMs and Traders to decide on relative value across sectors and securities
• Work to refine relative value framework and to build analytical tools, in partnership with PMs and technology
• Follow pricing procedures for daily, weekly, and monthly verifications
• Assist in monitoring client guidelines for individual trades and communicate with PMs and compliance to resolve any issues
• Maintain securitized coverage broker relationships

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of trading or sales experience in securitized products, on either buy-side or sell-side
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Excellent understanding of securitized trading conventions across sectors
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Desired Skills
• Experience in fixed income: securitized banking syndicate, rates sales/trading, residential/commercial loan trading
