We have an opportunity for a Sr Industrial & Product Introduction Engineer to join our HBT team in Lugoj.

Task Environment

Sr. Industrial & Product Introduction Engineer responsibilities:
• Production/ Manufacturing
• Executive
• Production control/ production planning
• Process development / plant planning
• Development / Design

Subtasks
• Introduction of new products / New Product Introduction:
• Expert consultant for R&D in idea and planning phases and participation in the planning of product development projects.
• Transfer of product designs into production-oriented processes/products.
• Definition and commissioning of prototypes, pre-series and series products as an interface between R&D, test department and production, taking into account the VPD and HPD process for the production-oriented development of new products (NPI) and revision of existing ones.
• Co-design, check and release work preparation, work sequences and production processes and equipment, taking into account known production processes and time data. In doing so, ergonomics, production technology and business management findings must also be taken into account. Calculate and check costs for in-house and external production, identify alternatives.
• Carry out profitability analyses and cost comparisons of existing and new processes and technologies, taking into account future requirements, strategic corporate goals, technological developments, technical implementation possibilities, capacities and organizational framework conditions.
• Collaboration on DfX guidelines in the field of soldering, placement and test technology.
• Conducting error analyses as part of the quality improvement of new products in cooperation with QS.
• Participation in the definition of quality processes to improve process capability.
• Planning, execution and evaluation of test series with regard to SixSigma and Lean.
• Ensuring and further developing process stability and introducing new manufacturing processes and technologies on the basis of specialist literature, trade fair visits, contacts to internal and external experts .

Quality
• Ensuring and further developing process stability.
• Planning, execution and evaluation of test series with regard to SixSigma and Lean.
• Conducting error analyses as part of the quality improvement of new products in cooperation with QS.

Project
• Control NPI and relocation projects.
• Cooperation with all departments within ISC / Operations worldwide.
• Carry out projects, create project plans

Qualifications
• University degree
• Background in Electronics - would represent a plus
• previous similar experience
• Project Management skills
• Good English oral and written communication skills
• A good knowledge of working with Microsoft Office package
• SAP knowledge - would represent a plus
