The Web Designer will be placed in the Marketing and Public Relations Division of Alpha Bank, which is responsible for the design, coordination and implementation... of all marketing activities regarding the products and services of the Bank and its Subsidiaries.

In order for the jobholder to be successful in this role, he/she will need to have excellent visual design skills and to be proficient in graphic design software. He/she will have the opportunity to collaborate with a great number of Stakeholders and to participate in an amazing creative journey in order to support the implementation of the Digital Roadmap and the fulfillment of other Customers’ needs. Furthermore, he/she will support branding and will create, enhance and optimize Alpha Bank’s websites.

The ideal candidate should also work closely with our website team to ensure a proper and smooth workflow. He/she should also conceptualize and implement creative ideas for Alpha Bank websites and create user interface and visual elements that are in line not only with the Bank’s Digital Identity but also with its Purpose and Values. He/she should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What you will be doing

· Conceptualize creative ideas for Alpha Bank’s digital presence.

· Draft Digital Identity and Brand guidelines.

· Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) and ensure that they are in line with our Digital Identity and Brand.

· Establish design guidelines, standards and best practices.

· Maintain the appearance of the websites by enforcing global best practices.

· Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

· Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, sitemaps and wireframes.

· Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.

· Prepare design plans and present the website structure.

· Identify and troubleshoot User Experience (UX) problems (e.g. regarding responsiveness).

· Make layout adjustments, based on user feedback.

· Be empathetic towards Users and apply accessibility requirements as a set of design constraints to build better websites.

What you need to have

· A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or in a relevant discipline. A Master’s degree in a related field will be considered a significant asset.

· At least three (3) years of professional experience in creative positions as a designer.

· Excellent User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) and Customer Experience (CX) skills.

· Excellent command of the English and the Greek language (both written and spoken).

· Ability to meet deadlines and to multitask.

· Proficiency in graphic design software, including Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other visual design tools.

· Proficiency in front-end web development programming languages, such as HTML and CSS, jQuery and JavaScript.

· Good understanding of content management systems.

· Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.

· Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.

· Excellent visual design skills.

· Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards and technologies.

· Creativity and openness to new ideas.
