About the role

The job involves overseeing employee education and skill-building initiatives and partnering with senior leaders to foster a high-performing corporate culture. The role reports to the Vice President of Human Resources, manages one team member and is based either in Sitiawan or KL with regular travel to other sites.

Your responsibilities

Systemize and digitalize training structure for efficient tracking.

Manage internal and external training nominations and records for audits.

Manage claims and track usage.

Develop and facilitate leadership curriculum and in-house programs for junior and middle management.

Develop On-The-Job (OTJ) training program and coordinate upskilling of operations team.

Assemble list of approved training providers to build internal capabilities.

Coordinate quality control and award programs to upscale employee involvement.

Support... VP of HR with benchmarking best practices with competitors.

Participate in group-level projects as required.

Collaborate and support other HR section heads as needed.

Carry out any other duties as required by immediate leader.

You will have

Bachelor's degree in any related field, any training certifications are a plus.

Minimum of 8 years' experience in comparable roles within an industrial/manufacturing MNC environment.

Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with best practice learning and development tools.

Proficient with HR systems such as Workday, SAP HR, or Oracle HR.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with decent fluency in Bahasa Malaysia
