We are now inviting applications for the role of Financial Accountant to... the Musgrave Finance Team.

Key responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
Oracle fixed asset register (FAR) is updated for fixed asset additions/disposals in line with policy. Useful economic life set for each asset category is up to date and accurate. Depreciation and amortisation are accurate both YTD and future-looking Investment Properties are revalued each year with changes correctly booked in the FAR. Contract analysis for large capex projects has been prepared in conjunction with Group Tax. Year-end schedules supporting asset movements by statutory entity have been prepared. Capital Acquisition Requests (CARs) have been accurately recorded. Quarterly GL reconciliations are updated in Blackline Certain subsidiary financial statements have been prepared and approved. Cover has been provided for the SFA role including consolidation and financial close Quarterly intercompany netting and reconciliations have been managed. [Quarterly ROI and NI vat returns have been submitted accurately and on-time.] The annual audit has been completed without issues.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

The successful candidates will possess the following:
Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years’ post qualified experience Stakeholder relationship management skills Well organised to effectively prioritise and deliver high quality results Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage relationships. Verbal and written communication. Structured, organised and methodical with attention to detail Understanding of accounting rules and ability to convert into practical advice. Ability to manage a diverse and complex workload. Determined with a strong and resilient personality
