Job Title: Senior Delivery Manager - Solution Specialist-SAP

Job Description

SAP Solution Architect will be tasked with designing and costing out SAP run and transformation/migration solutions. The job responsibilities include the following critical tasks:
• Design SAP transformation and migration solutions, mapping the SAP components to appropriate infrastructure components, performing initial sizing, re-platform, and check compatibility and supportability of the SAP components.
• Design SAP Architecture to meet clients’ requirements for reliability and availability, this includes HA and DR architecture and setup
• Design SAP Run solution to meet clients’ requirements, adding appropriate automation and Run efficiency parameters, value adds, and completeness of services and overall delivery setup.
• Validate impact of future projects and/or release upgrades to the services
• Cost out all the relevant components and services required to deliver the designed services to the client.
• Prepare client SOW together with commercial and legal support teams
• Create slides, tables, and graphs to support the sales process depicting the designed and proposed solution for the client. Create proposal content relevant to the designed solution. Update solution and deal review decks and obtain approvals using standard processes.
• Communicate the proposed solutions and proposals to clients and support the sales lead.
• Commitment Provide updates and materials on time for timely proposal submission and in line with the agreed timelines by the bid team.
• Involvement in presales: Meet clients to discuss their SAP transformation strategy and roadmap. Gather requirements and prepare solution options and the integration plans

Required
• A BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field. Having a university degree is a must. At the same time, your knowledge and understanding of the business domain are critical, and hence an MBA may also be helpful.
• In general, 10-15 years of professional experience in technical consultation, system integration, or application architecture.

 

Technical Knowledge Or Skills From SAP Ecosystem

Knowledge and understanding of the SAP ecosystem.
• At least 5-7 years’ experience as an SAP Basis specialist with:
• Experience and knowledge in the SAP Basis area of SAP
• Experience and knowledge of SAP Databases and HANA in particular
• Understanding of the SAP technology stacks
• Experience with SAP standard processes like system copy, kernel and support stack patching, transport setup/charm, systems monitoring, backup/restore, HA and DR
• Managing projects in active SAP environments
• Understanding of SAP’s product availability matrix and being able to validate supported combinations of SAP products, OS, DB, etc.

Non-SAP Technical Skills

Knowledge of the following areas will be advantageous:
• Understanding of hyperscaler technologies Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Understanding of database technologies and platforms
• Understanding of general networking principles and protocols.
• Understanding of modern infrastructure technologies like vSAN, Hyperconverged, etc.
• Understanding of automation/AI and tools like Terraform/Ansible etc.
• Other ERP Systems.

Certifications

Certifications in the following areas will be advantageous:
• Certifications related to SAP Basis and Architecture
• Certifications related to SAP OS/DB migrations
• Certifications related to SAP system security
• Certifications from AWS, Azure, and or GCP.
