POSITION NAME : MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
INDUSTRY : MANUFACTURING
LOCATION : CARJEN FOOD SDN BHD, TAMAN TEKNOLOGI CHENG, MELAKA
WORKING DAYS/ HOUR : MONDAY – FRIDAY (8:00 – 5:00
SALARY: RM4, 500 – RM5, 500

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for all... repair, corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance works involving all machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Responsible for power distribution & electrical supply, water treatment, fire protection system and wastewater treatment plant facility etc.
• Perform routine machine, equipment & building inspection, monitoring, and improvement to ensure in good condition and meet safety requirements.
• Train and coach the maintenance teams in handling maintenance activities.
• Ensure all documentations, checklist, preventive maintenance and calibrations record are well maintained & updated.
• Work together with Production Department for related installation & commissioning project, repair, service and upgrade of machinery & equipment within the plant to achieve optimum operation.
• Overall planning on spare parts and inventory management.
• Liaise with governmental authorities and ensure machineries, buildings, and equipment are compliance with local regulations (DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, MIDA, KASTAM, GAS Malaysia etc)
• Development and maintenance of document as per ISO requirement standards. i.e.; SOP, WI, Maintenance schedule, etc.
• Notify EH&S of critical accidents, unsafe conditions of work refusals. Prepare and maintain all safety and health related documentation and filing. Conduct safety inspection and audit in the work place and Conduct safety & Health awareness training for employees
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to read and speak in Mandarin is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering (Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 working years in engineering and maintenance equipment management in food industry (instant noodle & Snack).
• Competent person with CePIETSO (BP,PCP) Certified Environmental Professional in Industrial Effluent Treatment System is an advantage .
• Able to read and interpret machine manual, mechanical drawing, and electrical scheme.
• Experienced in wastewater & water treatment plant, centralize air-conditioning.
• Team player & able to communicate at all level and cross functional.
• Must Computer literate
