The role

The role of Library Services Lead is a newly established permanent 40-hour-per-week role that delivers, monitors, responds to, organises and reports on the operational delivery of ‘library services' within the Arts, Culture and Lifelong Learning (ACLL) team. Our Library Services Lead has a team of approximately one third of our Community Library Service Centre Assistants (CLSCA's) who deliver services through a districtwide network of Libraries/Service Centres the Edge Connector outreach Service; and via Selwyn Libraries website.

Rewarding and varied, this role is a fantastic mix of leadership, operational delivery and collaboration. You will build positive relationships with the CLSCA's, supporting them with individualised training and coaching to ensure we continue to deliver high quality service to our community.
