Assistant Manager (Campus Safety and Facilities Management) (PR0533/22-23)

The appointee will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver quality management services to campus and properties leased/managed by the University.

Responsibilities:
• Closely monitor all operational aspects;
• Provide venue/hospitality/catering support to events/functions;
• Exercise effective cost control and strategically plan for operation migration/integration;
• Prepare improvement proposal and render professional advice to users at different levels;
• Support committee work; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
• Self-motivated, customer services orientated, possesses problem solving, planning and management skills, able to work independently and under... pressure, and be a good team player.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
