Working experience on CNC Machine
Check the tool's dimensions with precision measuring instruments such as micrometres, gauges and co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM)
Carry out basic machine maintenance
Assembling, fitting, and repairing tools
Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations
Ensure company targets are met in respect of quality
Identify spares requirements and log usage
Manufacture new tooling and ancillary spares to support production activity and customer deadlines
Document and update die history and other work records
Test and confirm electrical and... hydraulic/pneumatic operation of tools before return to production
Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances.
Designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.
Measuring and marking metal stock for machining.
Setting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
Cutting and shaping blocks to specified dimensions.
Filling, grinding, and shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish.
Fitting and assembling tools and die parts.
Inspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.
Vast knowledge of working with cutter speeds and feeds
Conducting test runs with completed tools and dies.
Basic operators knowledge on EDM machine
Mould QA before work is sent out
